Colorado Teen Court Association is a non-profit 501(c)3 whose purpose is to foster growth and stability within Teen Court programs throughout Colorado.
Our association works to unite Teen Court employees and volunteers for the purpose of education, advocacy, and support. We will host events and conferences that benefit the Teen Court programs in Colorado.
As an organization we desire to do the following for Teen Court programs throughout Colorado:
Communication: To provide cross communication of Colorado’s Teen Courts in existing programs, problem solving, information sharing, collaboration, and support.
Training: To provide learning opportunities and skill development to both employees and volunteers through annual conferences and teen summits. Training will relate to management techniques, education on pressing issues, guest speakers, skill sharing, networking, and best practices.
Sustainability: To promote sustainability and development of new and existing Teen Court programs in Colorado. In which gathering and publishing statistical data for first time juvenile offenders, will create evaluation of sustainability for the Teen Court programs.
